Tony Blair recently gave us an insight into how a politician is trained and how suitable and most productive he/she is in his/her various career stages. It was a great and very personal insight in how productive you need to be in order to perform daily with the top politicians around the world:
‘The journey as a leader begins when you are most popular and least capable and productive. And at the end of your political career it is usually the other way round.’
Effective politicians really need a positive attitude and strict time management especially while travelling internationally. The quote above came up during a speech at the World Knowledge Forum in Seoul in 2015, where we met as we were both invited speakers at the event in the capital of Korea. Great personality and very lively speech from the former prime minister. He certainly gave me a few great insights into his way of productivity.
